SKITTLES CARDIFF was formed in August 2010 with the opening matches started on September 8th. First blood went to New Penn Stars and was followed with wins for, Maltsters Wanderers , Modernaires, Black & Ambers and Dublin All Stars. Thirteen teams started the league with Plough Cubs taking the first league title, thanks in part to a 32 from Andrew Lewis and a 30 from Peter Worrell in a three team play-off to decide the champions. The game went to the last man, Dennis Westren before captain Andy Davies lifted the solid Wesh slate, Dragon Trophy. Runners up were Likely Lads and Heath Hornets, third.

The Inaugural Cup saw the Black & Ambers collecting the trophy after being 15 pins behind to Plough Cubs with the final scores, 283 - 265.

The Individual Cup was lifted by Rob Bushell of Heath Hornets with 32, Mike Strutt of Maltsters Wanderers with 31 ran him close. Ray Davies of Black & Ambers and Mike Morgan of Modernaires, both hit 30 to tie third spot.

The first Skittles Cardiff A.G.M. was held at The Plough on Wednesday May 18th, when two new sides were welcomed into the fold. Bloodhounds and Mag Twelve will be playing with us all in season 2011 - 2012.
